2025 The International AI Elite Programming Contest Held in Hong Kong, Champion Announced Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R. Mar 6, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - On March 2, the 2025 International AI Elite Programming Contest (IAEPC) was successfully held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. After two days of intense competition, the champions were revealed: Classic Track: Champion: Riku Kawasaki (Japan) Runner-up: Kevin Sun (USA) Third place: Benjamin Qi (USA) Fourth to sixth places: Yui Hin Arvin Leung (Hong Kong, China), Lingyu Jiang (China), and Yui Tamura (Japan) Innovation Track: Champion: Benjamin Qi (USA) Runner-up: Lingyu Jiang (China) Third place: Yaoyu Pan (China) A total of more than 20,000 contestants from 117 countries and regions participated in the 2025 IAEPC. Ultimately, 28 young technology elites from 12 countries and regions gathered in Hong Kong for the final showdown. These finalists are among the worlds top young AI talents, many of whom have won global programming competitions. The finalists were: Ashley Aragorn Khoo, Benjamin Qi, Fedor Romashov, Hiu Tsun NG, Hyunseo Jeong, Ibuki Mio, IWEN HUANG, Kevin Sun, Kosuke Kaneshita, Marcelo Fornet, MASAKI NISHIMOTO, Noam Gutterman, Po-Yu Chou, Riku Kawasaki, Shreyan Ray, VSEVOLOD LEPESHOV, Yaoyu Pan, Yui Tamura, Yui Hin Arv Leung, Jiayi Lu, Yui Hosaka, Lingyu Jiang, Ngoc Bao Khue Hoang, Haojia Shi, Maxim Plyushkin, Jongwon Lee, Felix Moreno Peñarrubia, and Alexey Vasilyev. In addition to gathering young tech elites in Hong Kong, IAEPC also invited industry leaders, experts, and scholars to support the event.
