Pioneering Projects During High School

While attending SMAN 3 Malang, Rizaldy moved from game hacking to more constructive programming. He developed an online voting system for his schools student council elections, which became the first of its kind in the city of Malang marking his first public-facing innovation.

Rizaldy graduated cum laude from the Institute Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, earning his degree in Informatics Engineering. During university, he was among the first students to introduce Bitcoin and blockchain concepts to his peers at a time when the technology was still largely misunderstood in Indonesia. His deep technical interest soon translated into a broader vision: promoting the responsible and innovative use of decentralized systems.

Career in Engineering and Blockchain Infrastructure

After graduation, Rizaldy was recruited by Bank Mandiri, one of Indonesias largest financial institutions and one of the biggest bank in South East Asia by market capitalization in 2022, through its prestigious Management Development Program. As a Software Engineer and Assistant Manager, he contributed to enterprise-level IT development and learned to navigate large-scale system reliability in the financial sector.

Driven by his passion for blockchain technology, he later joined Chainstack, a global infrastructure company supporting over 19 blockchain protocols. As a Technical Support Engineer, he assisted developers and enterprises worldwide in deploying and maintaining blockchain nodes and APIs experience that deepened his expertise in distributed systems.

Rizaldy currently serves as an L2 Support Engineer at Edgevana, where he provides advanced troubleshooting for decentralized network infrastructure and ensures the resilience of global blockchain systems. His work reflects the synthesis of traditional enterprise discipline and cutting-edge decentralized technology.

Cybersecurity and Personal Philosophy
